Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the research group lead by by Prof. César Domínguez ("Medieval Literatures in a World Context"), I would like to announce you that our next seminar will take place at Brown University (Riverside) as part of the Annual Conference of the American Comparative Literature Association.
This seminar -entitled "Troubled Times, Uncertain Borders: Comparatism, Medievalism and the Demands of World Literature"- aims at fostering methodological, epistemological and disciplinary reflection across the disciplinary boundaries of medievalism and comparative literature (I attach a description).
The deadline for submitting a paper is November 15th (5PM EST). If you would like to join us for this seminar, please, send me an abstract (in English, max. 250 words) prior that date or submit your proposal through the ACLA website:
http://acla.org/acla2012/?page_id=45
I kindly ask you to circulate this CFP among your colleagues and faculty members who might be interested.
Your sincerely,
Rosa M. Rodríguez Porto Universidade de Santiago de Compostela
